‘’Zara by Castro has a direct entrance from Praça da Figueira, occupying the space that was previously Manteigaria União – a memory immortalized in the beautiful oval ceiling fresco. Inside, the three small stone-topped tables with round benches, the shelves, the floor, and the counter follow the design of the Elsa Urquijo Arquitectos studio, which combined minimalist lines, lighting, and furniture with the history of the century-old building, where, across four floors, ornate ceilings, wall paintings, ironwork, and even an elevator from the former Hotel Francfort remain.
